I agree with this statement because every lie does lead to another one. It gets worst and worst with each new lie. Once you start, are you going to continue to lie? Lies are bad. They always have been. When you tell a lie you don't just lie to the person, you are also lying to yourself. It feels terrible to lie. For example, if I were to lie to my mom about doing my homework, then I'll either lie to the teacher about forgetting it at home or telling the teacher that I did when I actually just copied off someone's paper. One lie leads to the other. We can stop the lies from continuing if we never start in the first place.
