I agree with Ralph Waldo Emerson. Character is higher than intellect. It doesn't matter if we are the smartest in class. It matters if we are the nice one who is kind to everyone. If we are nice to everyone, then it shows that we have good character. It's just like beauty. You may be the most beautiful person at school, but if you are rude and mean and cruel, you will not be someone people would like to be around. All that matters is if we are beautiful on the inside. For beauty is found within. This is why I agree with Ralph Waldo Emerson.
