President's Day

What is it?

Presidents Day is the day when we honor all presidents, even though that day is George Washington's Birthday. 

When is it? 

Presidents Day doesn't take place on a specific day. Presidents Day takes place on the third Monday of February. 

What are several ways to show honor and respect on Presidents Day?

One way is to gather around with your family and say the pledge of allegiance. Another way is to probably do a prayer and thank God for the people he has put as president in the past. 

Presidents day became a federal holiday in 1879.
